La semana pasada, en el contexto de las materias propias de Language Arts, nuestros alumnos de 11th participaron en la fase preliminar del concurso de oratoria TISLS.
En esta oportunidad y como ya es costumbre, nuestros estudiantes tuvieron destacadas intervenciones, en las que fue posible apreciar un hábil manejo de la persuasión y sólidos argumentos.
La oratoria, es un componente relevante de la formación integral que entrega nuestro colegio, con el idioma inglés como protagonista.

11th Graders deployed their Oratory skills in our TISLS Public Speaking Competition
Last week, our 11th Graders honored our Language Arts tradition in the preliminaries of our TISLS Public Speaking Competition.
Oratory has been an important component in our 11th grade Language Arts since 2001. The unit concludes with each student presenting a persuasive speech to their classmates and two teachers, who evaluate both their preparation process and their delivery skills.
The students showed a clear personal progress throughout the process, strong critical views to develop their topics, and outstanding persuasive and oratory skills in their delivery. Now, it is the judges’ duty to select three finalists for each class to face the Grand Jury on October 13.
