Dentro de las actividades desarrolladas por Elementary School, en el contexto del trabajo de metodologías activas, nuestros alumnos de 3rd tuvieron una experiencia maravillosa gracias a una didáctica presentación sobre el Sistema Solar, a cargo de uno de nuestros apoderados.
Durante la jornada, además, hubo tiempo para que los niños observaran a través de un telescopio solar.

3rd grade: Learning in action connected to Science.
Our 3rd grades had a wonderful experience in Science: Mr. Manuel Gómez, a parent representative, shared a presentation about the Solar System with the students of both third-grade classes. In addition, our students had the opportunity to use a solar telescope, which complemented the activity with a sun observation, making this an even more entertaining and meaningful experience for the students
Our 3rd grade students are learning the following objectives:
- Identify and recognize some of the main astronomical observatories located in our Region and understand their importance for observing and studying the universe.
- Understand what a telescope is and how it helps us see objects far away in space.
- Describe the difference between looking at the sky with our eyes and using a telescope.
- Appreciate how telescopes and observatories help us learn more about our amazing universe.
